T'ai Chi is classed as an internal martial art, with an emphasis on physical and mental flexibility, physical health and spiritual power. By learning and practicing the slow, gentle movement patterns, you will maintain and improve your balance, blood pressure, circulation and concentration in any endeavor in your life!
The meditative benefits are universal, whatever your religion or spiritual path.
In this class we will practice warm ups, breathing exercises and self-healing applications to support your practice of one or more T'ai Chi styles.
I am a Registered Nurse and Nationally Certified Massage Therapist. Very soon I will be celebrating my 15th anniversary as a dedicated T'ai Chi practitioner and student. My instructor training has been specifically for health, meditation and energy work.
My medical and massage education and professional work inform my teaching so that I tailor whichever T'ai Chi style you are learning with appropriately safe, and energetically beneficial modifications of movement if needed.
