Hatha Yoga

This class is designed to gently open the joints, stretch and strengthen the body, and calm the mind, allowing stress and tension to melt away. Lots of modifications and options are given, which make this class a great choice whether you are new to yoga or have been doing yoga a long time.

Vinyasa Flow

Synchronizing breath with movement, Vinyasa Flow classes use sun salutes and creative sequences to generate heat for classes that balance strength with flexibility, movement with stillness, and effort with ease. All classes include opening breath awareness, sun salutations, standing poses, floor poses and inversions. Modifications are given for multiple levels, and students are taught to pay attention to safe alignment while flowing though the postures.

Yoga for Athletes

Complement your training and reward yourself for all that you do to compete and stay healthy and fit. Each practice will include a vigorous warm-up series followed by a  slower, deliberate easing into the musculature and joints so commonly abused and  overused by today’s athlete.

Beginners Vinyasa Flow

This is a great class for anyone who is interested in starting their yoga practice or someone trying to develop a stronger practice by revisiting foundations.  The class will move at a slow pace designed to help you learn to do postures correctly to avoid injury both in and out of yoga.

Morning Vinyasa Practice

A relaxed-paced Vinyasa practice focusing on the mind body connection and the therapeutic aspects of yoga.  In her class, there is a strong emphasis on the breath and mindfully moving through the asanas (postures).  Students should expect to be challenged from the pace of the movements and are encouraged to listen to their own bodies and modify poses as necessary. Her classes offer sun salutations, creative sequences and follows mindful alignment principles. Emphasis is placed on core muscle strengthening and posture alignment for overall balance.

Vin/Yin Yoga

This fusion of Vinyasa Flow and Yin Yoga offers movement to improve strength and balance while staying connected with ones breath. The practice transitions to poses that improve energy flow in the body with deep stretches to help release connective tissue and improve circulation.  Expect to leave class energized and ready to enjoy your day.

Bio Energy Shaking Meditation

We are created by energy, and, through working with energy we can transform our lives. Shaking is one of the world’s oldest traditions. Most of us have blocks where the energy does not freely flow within our body and our life.  Focused practice of Bio-energy Shaking Meditation awakens the sacred Kundalini fire, the untapped dormant energy that resides in all of us. Once awoken, its function is to clean us on a mental, emotional, physical and spiritual level, as it burns away any negative blocks we may be holding on to.
